As a teacher with over fifteen years of experience, I have met, worked with, and collaborated with *thousands* of students and their families, fellow teachers, and administrators. Many have also gone on to become my clients! Success depends on appreciating and recognizing the perspectives, unique qualities, and strengths of others in my classroom. In fact, both photography and teaching are very much alike, in that both require authenticity, patience, humor, and perspective, which are qualities I strive bring to every session (and day in the classroom!) Kooky kids, no problem. Camera-shy partner, no problem. Grumpy in-laws, I got it. You can relax, I can roll with it and make it work!

Chapter two: Make it official.
I'll keep in contact with you through booking and in planning your session. At booking, you'll fill out a questionnaire to help me to get to know you and your family, and your vision for the photo session. I provide a style guide and color palettes that's seasonally appropriate, and I would love to be in touch while choosing outfits - send me pictures of what you're thinking and I will give you my feedback, as well as suggested shopping links of possible outfit selections.
Work together to plan outfits, location and vision for your session.
Chapter three: Get ready!
I encourage you to let the chaos of children and family play out - sometimes the sweetest photos are when the littles take the lead! I will be positive and will not use pressure to "get the shot" - trust me, I will get beautiful photos.
Finally, you will get an online gallery of your hand-edited pictures that makes it simple to share and download images.

The following sessions can be booked anytime throughout the year! Also be on the lookout for seasonal mini sessions, which are perfect for easy, pre-planned themes and locations. After realizing how relaxed photography sessions can be, you'll want to book more and more sessions, and will need to buy an extra house for more wall space for all the gorgeous pictures.
Families have missed so much time together during the pandemic. This is a PERFECT opportunity to get family together and connect.
